With almost 30 years of experience in digital travel sales and e-commerce, Ilka is our industry professional par excellence. As Commercial Director, she drives the strategic growth of our agency and the visibility of our clients. Ilka's extensive experience in marketing and online sales fits perfectly into KITICON's service portfolio. In doing so, she combines technical know-how with a solution-oriented way of thinking to optimize booking technologies and the user experience for our customers — for more conversions and better results!

Ilka started out as a travel agent and has developed into an expert in digital travel sales. She led the DACH product and content management department at ebookers.com for ten years and later advised companies on digitization and sales concepts. Most recently, she spent nine years at AMONDO as head of e-commerce and sales and was jointly responsible for a cruise portal.

In addition to her many years of practical experience, Ilka also has up-to-date knowledge of innovative technologies: She is a certified AI Marketing Professional. In this further training, she has intensively studied the possible applications of artificial intelligence in marketing - for example, in the efficient creation of texts, images and videos or in the analysis of data. She sees AI as a tool that supports and supplements processes - not as a substitute for human creativity.
