The group brings together well-established brands such as Raiffeisen- und Volksbanken Touristik, AtourO GmbH, Raiffeisen Reisebüro GmbH, GEO Reisen und Erlebnis GmbH, as well as Meine Kreuzfahrt Cruise Center. In addition, it operates the event and ticket platform my-ticket.shop along with numerous travel agencies across Austria and Southern Germany.

Beyond traditional package holidays, the company offers themed travel, business trips, cruises, and tailor-made tours – all designed to create unforgettable vacation experiences. Together with bestfortravel GROUP, we introduced the Maldives as a new destination on the company website and made the dedicated landing pages visible in search engines through targeted SEO measures.

The Challenge

The client approached us with the goal of positioning the Maldives as a key destination on its website. Up to that point, the Maldives had not been adequately represented: there were no dedicated landing pages, and as a result, the site lacked organic visibility for relevant search terms. Our task was therefore to design and implement a comprehensive SEO and content strategy aimed at boosting visibility while positioning the brand as a Maldives expert in the market.

Our Approach

We began with an SEO potential analysis on Maldives-related topics combined with a competitive landscape review. From this, we developed a content repository as well as an optimized page architecture, including UX recommendations and a new URL structure for the landing pages.

Once the proposed structure and topics were approved by the client, we conducted in-depth keyword research and created SEO-optimized copy for the landing pages. These texts, combined with curated imagery, were integrated into TYPO3, the client’s CMS. Meanwhile, the client developed additional landing pages dedicated to individual hotels and resorts in the Maldives. In close collaboration with bestfortravel GROUP, we also implemented a custom filter logic for hotel listings.

The Result

A comprehensive directory filled with tips and inspiration for Maldives travelers, combined with steadily increasing organic visibility – positively impacting the overall online presence of bestfortravel GROUP. Explore Maldives travel offers directly on the bestfortravel website.
