TEFRA Travel Logistics offers an integrative booking interface for sales partners

Seamless transfer of bookings to TEFRA luggage service from now on

(Hamburg, 09.10.2023) TEFRA Luggage Service is now providing all sales partners with a new interface for their booking process. This means that all orders are now automatically transmitted to the Hamburg-based company. The interface enables users to call up the desired services: Pick-up and delivery by the luggage service are checked by zip code. As a result, customers are only presented with times that are actually available in real time and the order is then transferred to TEFRA easily and without any additional effort.

However, the new interface not only transports all essential booking information, but also provides sales partners with a fully integrated method of seamlessly integrating the booking for the end customer into their own booking software or standard mid-office systems. This means that the luggage service can be offered and booked directly on your own website.

The TEFRA luggage service product portfolio includes the door-to-door service, the door-to-ship service and the door-to-airport service. A REST API is used to query delivery times and transfer orders.

The Club der Macherinnen kicked off a unique network that brings women in tourism together on 3 April. KITICON Global Networks was there as a partner and supports the initiative, which is committed to empowering and promoting women in tourism. Managing Director Tina Kirfel contributed her experience in a panel discussion and spoke about the importance of networking in the industry.

A strong network for women in tourism

The Club der Macherinnen, founded by Anna Schwingenschlögl and Christiane Bläser, is the first network explicitly aimed at women in tourism. In a constantly changing industry, women play a central role - through their expertise, their commitment and their innovative strength. The aim of the initiative is to network women, support them in their professional development and jointly provide impetus for the future of the industry.

At the end of the event, the participants discussed in small groups how the format could be continued in the future. It was particularly important to the two organisers to include all voices and take into account the wishes of those present. Various topics were mentioned, including technical developments such as artificial intelligence, finance and insurance, as well as work-life balance and cross-generational dialogue between young and experienced female tourism professionals.

The target group is also to be expanded in the future: All female tourism professionals are invited to become part of the network. The network sees itself as a platform for in-depth, sustainable communication and aims to strengthen both professional and personal dialogue.
