From Vision to Brand – How We Developed a Distinctive Corporate Design for limes living

limes living represents a modern residential concept that brings together people in different stages of life — from seniors requiring support to young families and couples. The residential complex in Höhr-Grenzhausen is designed to create a vibrant community that combines closeness, support, and independence.

The aim of our collaboration was to translate this unique idea into a visual identity that builds trust while reflecting a high standard of design.

Objective: For limes living, we developed a corporate design that feels inclusive, human, and authentic without compromising on perceived value. The brand was intended to establish a clear position and achieve strong recognition — supported by a design that is timeless, accessible, and premium at the same time.

The Challenge: The limes living brand brings together different target groups and realities of life. This made it particularly challenging to develop a visual language that conveys both warmth and quality — without appearing too distant, cold, or elitist.

At the same time, the design needed to be flexible enough to work consistently across different media and formats.

Our Approach: Based on a detailed briefing, we developed initial design concepts, which we presented and discussed with the client in a joint review meeting. This first “work-in-progress” session formed the basis for further development and refinement. Among other aspects, the colour concept was specifically adjusted to achieve the desired emotional impact more precisely.

Following final approval of the corporate design, we created a style guide defining all visual elements and ensuring consistent brand application. In parallel, we developed advertising templates in various formats for flexible use across different channels.

A key part of the project was the concept development and implementation of a brochure. We managed the entire process — from content structure and editorial development through to the final layout and coordination with the printer. The result was a high-quality communication tool that conveys the values and concept of limes living in a holistic way.

Based on this brochure, we also developed a two-sided flyer that clearly highlights the key benefits and can be displayed at various events.

The Result: The new corporate design gives limes living a clear and distinctive identity that runs consistently through all communication materials. The carefully selected combination of typography, colour palette, symbolism, and icons creates a visual identity that builds trust, conveys closeness, and communicates a high level of design quality.

The brand feels welcoming and premium — without creating distance. It speaks to different target groups equally and communicates the idea of community, individuality, and quality of life in an authentic way.
