What partner status means for guests in practice
For travellers, the status has the advantage that Signature Kollection Travel has a direct line to Regent Seven Seas Cruises. They are the first to hear about offers and special itineraries, often at a point when these have not yet been publicly announced. "We learn details that remain hidden to others, and when we have questions, we reach someone who actually knows the voyage," explains Kamali. "That may sound unspectacular, but it determines whether a suite on a popular route is still available or not."
There is also protection after booking: should Regent subsequently publish a better offer for a voyage that has already been booked, Signature Kollection Travel passes the better price on to its guests. And the journey is planned from the outset by one person who remains available even after the booking confirmation.
"A journey in this segment doesn't end with the confirmation," Kamali continues. "Restaurant reservations, check-in, the decision between two itineraries, the excursions on site – these are the points where guests are otherwise left on their own. With us, guests simply have to express their wishes, and we take care of the rest."
All-suite fleet and included shore excursions for almost 35 years
Regent Seven Seas Cruises has been operating in the ultra-luxury segment for almost 35 years and is all-inclusive throughout. The fleet has deliberately remained manageable in size, with space for around 745 guests per ship. All suites have their own veranda, and all restaurants are included in the fare. "How much this concept makes itself felt in everyday life on board shows above all in how things run," describes Kamali. "Short distances, no surcharge at dinner and the ability to call at ports that are out of the question for larger ships. These are differences you only notice after a few days on board – and then wouldn't want to be without."
Seven Seas Prestige: first ship of a new class launches December 2026
In December 2026, Regent Seven Seas Cruises will put the Seven Seas Prestige into service, the first ship of the new Prestige Class. The scale of the fleet thus grows only moderately: the ship accommodates 822 guests, looked after by around 630 crew members. On board, guests can choose from eleven dining concepts, including seven specialty restaurants with no reservation fee, as well as a cooking school with guided classes.
When it comes to advising clients, however, a new ship is not automatically the answer to every question. "The question isn't which ship is the newest, but which itinerary suits which time of travel and how many sea days someone actually wants," emphasises Kamali. "A voyage through the South Pacific has different requirements than ten days in the Mediterranean. We clarify that beforehand, not on board."
The same applies to choosing the suite category. "Anyone who spends three weeks on board quickly realises that the square footage doesn't tell you everything about a suite," adds Kamali. "Which side of the ship is it on, will I see the sunset or the sunrise from there, how far is it to the staircase: these are questions that turn out differently for every guest – and that should be asked beforehand, not after setting sail."
Double Upgrade: two categories higher in the 2027 Europe season
The Double Upgrade Special currently applies to the 2027 Europe season. It covers a total of 41 voyages and combines a guaranteed two-category upgrade with a reduced deposit. On the Seven Seas Prestige, the upgrade extends up to a maximum of the Category D Concierge Suite. Bookings can be made until 31 October 2026.
Which starting category ultimately pays off depends on the itinerary and the guests' preferences. "Anyone sitting in front of a laptop sees ten categories with similar names and square footage. How the suites actually differ is hardly apparent from that," explains Kamali. "That's why we look at the options together with our guests, category by category, and explain what the difference really means for everyday life on board."
What Signature Kollection Travel takes care of before departure
The service begins with the choice of ship, itinerary and suite category and deliberately does not end with the booking confirmation. Signature Kollection Travel handles check-in and the required details before the start of the voyage, reserves the specialty restaurants on board and tailors the shore excursions to the guests' interests. Arrival, pre-cruise overnight stays, transfers and extensions at the port of arrival or departure are integrated into the same planning. In this way, the cruise becomes one section of an overall journey shaped around the guests' wishes.
"We plan hotel stays, tours and lodges all over the world, and our network doesn't end at the port," emphasises Kamali. "We design pre- or post-cruise programmes independently of the cruise line. Anyone who wants to add ten days in Greece after a Mediterranean itinerary receives the same planning as for the cruise itself."
With restaurants in particular, timing is often decisive, explains the founder of Signature Kollection Travel. "Seating in the specialty restaurants is limited, and reservations open on a fixed date before departure. Anyone who misses that date simply won't get the evening table at their preferred restaurant. We are there to take care of exactly these matters for our guests."
For the founder, the ambition behind it can be summed up in one sentence: "Our guests should simply sit back and look forward to their journey."
Signature Kollection Travel was founded in Munich in 2025 and plans individually curated luxury journeys for a deliberately limited number of guests. Ultra-luxury cruises complement hotel, villa and expedition journeys, which can be combined into longer itineraries.
