Munich, 3 July 2026. Signature Kollection Travel is opening up Japan as a new destination for individually curated travel in the ultra-luxury segment. The portfolio comprises selected addresses from Aman, Capella, Patina and Waldorf Astoria – including Aman Tokyo, Aman Kyoto, Amanemu, Janu Tokyo, Capella Kyoto, Patina Osaka and Waldorf Astoria Osaka.

The focus is on hotels and resorts defined by their architecture, discretion, privacy and close connection to their respective destination. On this basis, Signature Kollection Travel develops individually planned journeys with a personal signature, tailored to the interests and rhythm of each guest.

For Shahab Kamali, the recent trip to Japan was his first visit to the country – after decades in the international luxury travel industry. Although Signature Kollection Travel's Japan journeys follow no fixed route, selected itineraries offer initial inspiration. Alongside a 12-day journey from Tokyo to Osaka, Signature Kollection Travel recommends a 17-day route taking in Tokyo, Kyoto, Ise-Shima, Kōya-san, Nara and Osaka.
