The Maltese Falcon features a distinctive DynaRig system with three free-standing masts and over 2,400 square metres of sail area. In summer, the routes lead through the western and eastern Mediterranean – from the French Riviera and the Amalfi Coast to Greece and the Balearics. On board, guests can look forward to individually tailored menus, a spa area and an extensive range of water sports. Routes, daily schedules and activities are designed entirely according to guests' wishes.
Impressions at first hand
Shahab Kamali, founder and CEO of Signature Kollection Travel, was one of only a few internationally selected luxury travel experts to be personally invited on board – together with a hand-picked group of international trade journalists and specialists from the global luxury travel market. "The Maltese Falcon combines the romance of classic seafaring with state-of-the-art technology. Wishes are often fulfilled before they even need to be expressed," says Kamali. "That is the kind of experience we want to make possible for our guests."
Europe as a growing focus
The addition of the Maltese Falcon fits into a broader development that Signature Kollection Travel is observing among its guests. Europe is establishing itself more strongly as a versatile stage for high-quality summer travel. The combination of exceptional accommodation, individual experiences and good accessibility matches the current mood of many travellers. "For us, this means developing our offering in a targeted way: to that end, we are currently personally exploring accommodation in Europe in order to find the right places for the widest possible range of travel wishes," says Kamali.
The Mediterranean portfolio is complemented by the Jumeirah Mallorca above the bay of Port de Sóller and the Jumeirah Capri Palace in Anacapri – both properties reflect the company's focus on destinations with an exceptional location and a clear concept.
